Rajkummar Rao and mmar Rao Patralekhaa have been dating since 2010.

Actor Rajkummar Rao and girlfriend Patralekhaa are engaged. The couple, who has been dating for over a decade, got engaged in a hotel in Chandigarh on Saturday.

 
Both Rao, 37, and Patralekhaa, 32, were dressed in all-whites, with the former in a white kurta-churidaar with a jacket and sneakers, and the latter in a stunning white and silver off-shoulder gown.

 
A video from the engagement ceremony is viral on social media and has been lapped up by fans of the actor.

 
The clip shows Rajkummar Rao going down on one knee to propose to Patralekhaa, taking her by complete surprise.

 
“Patralekhaa Paul, will you marry me?” he asks her as she too goes down on her knee.

 
“I will,” she says, before asking, “Rajkummar Rao, will you marry me?”
Patralekhaa and Rao then exchange rings and then get up as Ed Sheeran’s song “Perfect” plays in the background. The couple then dance as guests cheer for them.

The engagement took place at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in Chandigarh.

The couple is reportedly set to tie the knot soon.

They have featured together in filmmaker Hansal Mehta's 2014 film "Citylights" and ALTBalaji series "Bose: Dead/Alive".

Rao was last seen in "Hum Do Hamare Do" that also featured Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah in lead roles.
