BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover, who is in the United States currently, took time out to visit The Statue of Liberty in New York and offered his views on the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections result on Tuesday, emphasising on how the Indian public had shown they were smarter than all the politicians and pollsters.
Writing on X (formerly Twitter), Grover said that the general elections reinforced that there was parliamentary democracy in India.
"Apt day to be visiting 'The Statue of Liberty !' As the great Indian Elections wrap up, Junta showed everyone they can cut across the noise and are smarter than all politicians / pollsters. Respect."
"For me the result reinforces one thing - India mein parliamentary democracy hai. Sab MP chun rahe - not PM. So better MP candidate selection at micro constituency level made all the difference between perception and reality," Grover wrote on the social media platform.
