Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT collection is live on Beyondlife.club.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT, or non-fungible token, collection of artwork went live on Monday. The actor had in September announced the launch of his limited edition NFT collection on NFT exchange platform Beyondlife.club.

“T 4082 - My official #NFTs are LIVE Now!  You can check them out & buy your favorite #AmitabhNFT at https://amitabh.beyondlife.club,”  the 79-year-old tweeted.

NFT is a digital object - a drawing, animation, piece of music, photo, or video - with a certificate of authenticity created by blockchain technology. This authentication by a network of computers is considered inviolable.

Bachchan’s NFT collections include a recording of his father’s iconic poem “Madhushala”, in Bachchan’s baritone, vintage, hand-painted rare film posters signed by the actor and also digitised signed posters, among others. Buyers can also own videos of Amitabh Bachchan signing original poster of his iconic movies such as  “Sholay”, “Deewar”, “Silsila and “Kabhie Kabhie”.

Miliye mujhse ek naye avataar mei, aaj dopahar thik 12 baje (meet in in a different avatar, at noon today),” he had tweeted shortly before the launch of the NFT collection.

Beyondlife.club is also offering a “Loot Box” for the Amitabh Bachchan NFT collection. Each buyer of $10 Loot Box NFT will get a rare NFT and will also get a chance to claim one of the rarest vintage posters, rare Amitabh Bachchan art pieces and digital posters.

NFTs have taken the digital space by storm, especially in the post-pandemic world, and several key personalities across the globe have jumped the bandwagon. In India, superstar Salman Khan recently announced the launch of his NFTs on marketplace BollyCoin. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra too launched five NFTs of digital sketches of his creations. All five have been sold, with each going for 1 $1,908.8 to $3,579.
