Vivo has officially announced the upcoming launch of the T3X, the latest addition to its T3 series of smartphones offering 5G connectivity. The upcoming smartphone is set to debut in India on April 17. According to Vivo, the T3X will be priced competitively at under Rs 15,000. It will face stiff competition from the likes of Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung and others.
The T3X is rumoured to bring several enhancements and new features compared to its predecessor. With 5G capability, users can expect faster and more reliable connectivity, better streaming, gaming, and browsing experiences. The smartphone is likely to feature an upgraded display, improved camera system, and enhanced performance powered by a capable processor.
Vivo T3X Specifications and Availability
The phone is set to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. According to rumours, it will likely feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, representing an upgrade over the Dimensity 6020 found in its predecessor, the T2X. Vivo – on Flipkart – has teased some of the specs and features that the phone may bring.
In terms of battery capacity, the Vivo T3X is rumoured to house a robust 6000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The company has also confirmed the inclusion of Dual Stereo Speakers and an audio booster, promising an immersive audio experience for users.
Rumours suggest a sizable 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is likely to ship with Android 14 out of the box, providing the latest software experience.
The smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup. It is rumoured that it will feature a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP camera for depth sensing. For selfies and video calls, an 8MP front-facing camera is expected to be at the front of the smartphone.
Other notable features rumoured for the Vivo T3X include IP64 water and dust resistance ratings, ensuring durability against everyday exposure. The smartphone is also rumoured to incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for convenient and secure unlocking.
In terms of memory and storage configurations, while there may be an 8GB RAM variant available, the Indian version is speculated to debut with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Following its official launch, the Vivo T3X is expected to be available for purchase on Flipkart and Vivo India online store, as well as through offline retail channels.
