The Vivo X300 series, which is expected to include the X300 and X300 Pro, is set to launch in the coming weeks. Moreover, like its predecessor, the lineup will likely get Zeiss-backed cameras and be powered by a flagship MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

Vivo’s X series, which is known for its camera prowess, is reportedly getting a next-generation upgrade this year, as a tipster has now hinted at the probable launch timeline of the Vivo X300 series and suggested some of its key features. The upcoming Vivo X300 series is expected to include only a Pro and the vanilla version, unlike the Vivo X200 lineup, which included a base, a Pro and a Pro Mini model.

Vivo X300 series: Expected launch timeline, camera features

A new leak on Weibo by tipster Smart Pikachu reveals that the Vivo X300 series will launch in October in China, with a global release expected to follow on a later date. The tipster also adds that the phones in the lineup will be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is expected to break cover sometime next month.

Additionally, the tipster mentioned that the Vivo X300 series will arrive with a new generation of Zeiss coating on the cameras, which means we could get enhanced camera performance from these devices. He also confirmed that the company plans to strengthen its presence in the IoT and wearable space in 2026, with several flagship-level redefined devices scheduled to launch in the coming months.

Vivo recently confirmed that it’s going to bring better camera sensors in its next generation phones, which is expected to be the Vivo X300 series itself. The Chinese tech brand revealed that it would bring the 50MP Sony LYT828 camera and a new 200MP sensor from Samsung to its upcoming flagship devices. Further, the Sony sensor will support Hybrid frame-HDR and provide overall improved image quality thanks to Vivo’s VS1 and V3+ imaging chips.
