Large monitors and external displays have seen a spurt in demand. It’s one of the many consumer tech trends that were fuelled during the pandemic and are here to stay. BenQ’s new GW2490 and GW2790 add an interesting dimension to this growing segment with an aggressive price point. Whether it is for creative projects, office tasks, casual web browsing, coding or immersive gameplay, you’re more than covered.

The smaller of the duo – the GW2490 lands under Rs 10,000 making it a great option for a work from home desk or a work desk. We take you through the key highlights of these monitors:

1. Two size options: the 24-inch GW2490 and 27-inch GW2790 complete the line-up. Both feature Full HD IPS displays for an immersive visual experience and extensive eye care features for enhanced productivity and comfort.

2. Immersive appeal: both monitors come with a 100Hz refresh rate for smooth user experience, along with 99 percent sRGB colour gamut coverage for rich and accurate colours. With compact, space-saving designs, these monitors fit seamlessly into any environment and stand out as ideal all-in-one displays.

3. For your eyes only: a notable eye-care feature is BenQ's Brightness Intelligence Gen 2, which adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light conditions. The Low Blue Light Plus and Flicker-Free technologies further help reduce eye fatigue. The monitors are TUV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free operation. The monitors also come with additional features like e-paper mode, coding mode, colour weakness mode and RPF 35 Eye-Safe 2.0 certified to enhance eye comfort.
