Intel has announced the latest 14th Gen Intel Core processors for desktops. The line-up is lead by the flagship Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 24 cores and a frequency of up to 6Ghz.
Other specifications include 36MB of L3 cache and support for both 600 and 700 series motherboards. It also has Intel's UHD Graphics 770 onboard. You can optionally choose the 14900KF variant, which has the same specifications but without the onboard graphics.

The Core i5 models are led by the Core i5-14600K and Core i5-14600KF. Like the i7 and i9, both CPU variants have the same specs, the KF model is simply without the added iGPU. Interestingly, the Core i9 model supports a Thermal velocity boost of up to 6GHz, while the i7 models have Turbo Boost Max technology. The Core i5 models do not support either technology.
The entire CPU line-up comes with support for Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and future support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 5 are also supported.
The processors will be available starting October 17th, via retail outlets and OEM partner systems.
