
The OnePlus Nord 6 could be unveiled soon in India and other global markets as the successor to the OnePlus Nord 5, which was introduced in July 2025. The company has officially teased its launch through a social media post, and a tipster has now shed light on the expected specifications of this upcoming handset. Like its predecessors, the f OnePlus Nord 6 appears to be maintaining this focus on providing improved performance and could house a large battery pack.
OnePlus Nord 6: Expected launch timeline, specifications
OnePlus has now shared a new post on X with the tagline “Entering the Nord era soon,” which suggests that the OnePlus Nord 6’s launch is right around the corner. Separately, tipster Yogesh Brar has mentioned that the Nord 6 will have the same specifications as the OnePlus Turbo 6, with the handset expected to launch in April. While more details about the smartphone remain under wraps, the upcoming phone's price could be hiked compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 5, which starts at Rs 29,999 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
If true, then the OnePlus Nord 6 could sport a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness. The phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For cameras, the Nord 6 may have a dual rear camera unit, comprising a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome camera alongside a 16MP selfie shooter. However, in India, the monochrome sensor may be replaced by an 8MP ultrawide lens.
One of the biggest highlights of the phone could be its large 9,000 mAh battery, which could support 80W charging. With upgraded hardware and a possible price hike, the OnePlus Nord 6 could start under Rs 40,000 in India. OnePlus is expected to announce the official Indian launch date of this handset soon.
