Droom has witnessed a reacceleration in growth this year, after efforts to improve profitability have paid off, says founder and CEO Sandeep Aggarwal.
Ahead of its planned listing at Nasdaq or an Indian bourse, Droom is optimistic about growth in the under-penetrated online automobiles market as it expects consumers to rapidly shift to online purchases in the post-pandemic world.
"We had crossed turnover of Rs 520 crore in FY18 with 3,000-plus employees in our network. We are expanding at a fast pace and expect to see a growth of about 30 percent YOY over the next 24-36 months," he said in a press release.
Sandeep Agarwal, chief financial officer of Insecticides India speaking to CNBC-TV18 about debt concerns said, the company is looking to raise around Rs60- Rs70 crore through private equity (PE) route.
