The company every month sells around 2,000-2,500 units of Alcazar, which was revamped at a starting price of Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom), lower than Rs 16.78 lakh of the outgoing version (ex-showroom).
The new Alcazar showcases a more muscular and modern exterior, with H-shaped DRLs, vertically-stacked headlights, and connected LED tail lamps. The overall design is reminiscent of other Hyundai SUVs like the Exter and Creta, offering a cohesive look.

The Alcazar looks much more like its cousin – the Creta – than the Carens does the Seltos. It has a bigger grille than the Creta, with a block pattern on it; the headlights merge with the grille.

With a wheelbase that is 150mm longer than the Creta's, the Alcazar has third-row seating. Diesel variant: 1.5-litre engine, 115 bhp, 25.5 kgm torque. Petrol: 2-litre engine, 157 bhp, 19.5 kgm torque.

The Hyundai Alcazar is based on the company’s best-selling car, the Creta. The Creta is a 5-seater SUV, so Hyundai has had to make changes to allow for a third row of seats.

The Alcazar is essentially a 7-seater variant of the Hyundai Creta and as such should remain fairly similar to it. Design sketches, however, were just recently leaked online, so we do have a small understanding of what we can expect.
