      Surging auto sales in March brings cheer

      Sales of India's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki rose 28.2% in March to 1,21,952 lakh units as against 95,123 sold in the same month last year. While its domestic sales went up 38.8% to 1,10,424 from 79,530 year-on-year (YoY), exports dropped 26.1% to 11,528 units versus 15,593 exported in March last year.
