The CBSE refutes a report that claimed that the school board told the education ministry that holding classes 10 and 12 board exams twice a year was not possible under the current academic schedule
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an advisory cautioning students and parents against misleading information about syllabus, resources and sample question papers for 2024-25 session. The Board has warned students against falling prey to online portals spreading unverified news.

Advocates Jyoti Aggarwal, Sanjivani Aggarwal, and Pradeep Shekhawat, who have filed the plea, have said that as per news reports the new strain of COVID-19 was affecting youngsters the most and therefore, the students appearing for the exams need to be vaccinated on an urgent basis if the examinations cannot be held online.
The education body said it would decide in June whether the exams for the academic year could be conducted.
The decision to go ahead with the examinations was taken after reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the state, the chief minister said.
