UP Board Class 12 Biology, Mathematics exams unaffected by report of paper leak: Secretary

The UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations for 2024 are scheduled to conclude on March 9.

UP Board secretary has declined any impact from the reports of paper leak of Intermediate or Class 12 Biology and Mathematics examinations.

In a press note, Secretary Dibyakant Shukla said, as per reports, the question paper was distributed on a WhatsApp group named ‘All Principles Agra’ around 3:10 pm by a person named Vinay Choudhary.

The second shift examination, scheduled from 2 PM to 5:15 PM, was well underway when the message surfaced.

“The Intermediate Biology and Mathematics paper was sent at 03:10 pm on a WhatsApp group named ‘All Principles Agra’ by a person named Vinay Choudhary. By then the examination had been conducted in 1 hour and 10 minutes and all the candidates were giving the examination peacefully in their rooms at their respective examination centres, due to which the sanctity of the council examinations has not been affected at any level,” the press note said.

The UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations for 2024 are scheduled to conclude on March 9. The examinations are divided into two shifts, with the first shift taking place from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, and the second shift occurring from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.

Taking cognizance of the case, District School Inspector Agra was directed to immediately register a First Information Report (FIR) against Vinay Chaudhary and other persons involved in the matter.
