Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a visit to Goa on February 6, where he initiated several significant projects during the day including the inauguration of ONGC Sea Survival Centre, followed by India Energy Week 2024 and projects worth over Rs 1,330 crore in a public programme in Goa.

During his visit to Goa, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 1,330 crore in the public programme 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit Goa 2047'.
He inaugurated the permanent campus of the National Institute of Technology Goa as well as a 100 TPD Integrated Waste Management Facility in South Goa. He also dedicated the new campus of the National Institute of Watersports. PM Modi also laid the foundation stone for Passenger Ropeway, along with associated tourism activities, connecting Panaji and Reis Magos.
