Pravesh Verma's net worth
While filing his nomination, Verma declared a net worth of approximately Rs 113 crore. His spouse, Swati Singh, reported a net worth of Rs 24.4 crore. Their combined disclosed net worth totals Rs 113 crore, according to reports from Mint.
Verma disclosed Rs 2.2 lakh in cash, while his wife, Swati, reported Rs 50,000 in cash. Verma's investments in the equity and stock market include shares and bonds valued at Rs 52.75 crore. Additionally, he has insurance investments worth Rs 17 lakh, while his wife holds policies valued at Rs 5.5 lakh.
His assets include three cars -- a Toyota Fortuner (Rs 9 lakh), a Toyota Innova (Rs 36 lakh) and a Mahindra XUV (Rs 11.77 lakh).
In terms of precious metals, Verma has 200 grams of gold valued at Rs 8.25 lakh, and his wife owns 1.11 kg of gold worth Rs 45.75 lakh. His two daughters each hold 300 grams of gold worth Rs 12.35 lakh, while his son owns 150 grams valued at Rs 6.17 lakh.
Background
Born in 1977, the son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma comes from a strong political background. His uncle Azad Singh served as the North Delhi Municipal Corporation mayor and contested from Mundka constituency on a BJP ticket in 2013 assembly polls.
Verma's educational journey began at Delhi Public School in RK Puram, followed by an Arts degree from Delhi University's Kirori Mal College. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fore School of Management.
In 2013 he secured his first political victory in the Delhi Legislative Assembly's Mehrauli seat.
In 2014, he won the West Delhi Parliamentary seat and this victory was followed by a landslide repoll victory in 2019 where he won with a margin of 5.78 lakh.
Prior to the 2025 Delhi elections, Parvesh Verma initiated a campaign called "Remove Kejriwal, Save the Nation". During his his campaign, he strongly condemned the AAP government's bad performance, mismanagement, corruption, and failures on burning issues like pollution, women's safety.
