India's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja shared a story of his first meeting with him, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2010.

In a post on X, Jadeja recalled when he met PM Modi, Team India was having a match against South Africa in Ahmedabad, and Modi met players who were lined up on the field for introduction just before the match. "I first met Modi ji in 2010 during our match against South Africa in Ahmedabad, when he came to greet the players as Gujarat’s Chief Minister. Mahi bhai introduced me, and Modi ji smiled and told him, 'Take care of him… he’s our boy.' Hearing those words in front of my team made me feel proud, happy, and it’s a moment I’ll never forget," he wrote.

Union Minister CR Paatil shared an incident when Narendra Modi, then BJP National General Secretary, had to rush from Surat to Ahmedabad for an urgent meeting. With no reserved seats available, Modi “himself suggested that a general ticket be purchased” and travelled overnight in a general compartment to reach on time. Paatil said this reflected Modi’s “simple personality, dedication to duty, and discipline,” qualities he continues to embody even today.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday launched a song for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. The song, "Namo Pragati Dilli — Baal Swar Se Rashtra Swar Tak," has been prepared by the Education department to celebrate Modi's 75th birthday. It has students singing in 21 different languages. Gupta told reporters, "For years, PM Modi has worked for Delhi like a lifeline. Despite this, the previous governments have continuously criticised him and used inappropriate language. Today, our government expresses its heartfelt gratitude to him.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared how PM Modi demonstrated that in an organization, one should take care of the workers before oneself. "That lesson of his has become an integral part of my life today," he said.

Shah shared an episode from a journey to Rajkot and said, "Trust, belonging, and dedication—these are the soul of the organization, and this is Modi's greatest teaching."
