Amid tense calm over the Line of Control after four days of intense military standoff between India and Pakistan, sources say that Operation Sindoor is far from over.
While the Indian Air Force has also clarified on the status of the critical military mission, sources told news agency ANI that the instructions to the troops are clear – “If they (Pakistan) fires, we (India) will retaliate in equal measure. In a series of tweets, the news agency said that Prime Minister NArendra Modi had told the forces clearly – ‘Agar wahan se goli chalegi, toh yahan se gola chalega.’ In other words, it meant that India will reply strongly to any sort of aggressive stance by Pakistan.
The sources also said that things will not return to the earlier state as India “had it enough.” Calling it a “new normal,” the sources told ANI that “it won’t be business as usual.”

A New York Times report that claimed hectic diplomatic parley between top leadership in India, Pakistan and the US, the sources told ANI that there were only talks at the DGMO level and that it was Islamabad that had reached out to Delhi.
