The drama in the Bigg Boss 19 house has escalated to new levels, but this time, the contestants' families are now speaking out.
Following several incidents of what she describes as "unnecessary targeting" within the home, Ekta Bajaj, Abhishek Bajaj's sister, has taken a strong stance in support of her brother.
Ekta wrote a scathing message on social media, challenging the unjust treatment Abhishek has been receiving from the start of the season. Alleging that Amaal Mallik and Kunicka have been targeting Abhishek ‘over food, over tasks, and without reason,’ she called them out directly.
In her appeal, she tagged the show’s official handles, including @colorstv and @jiohotstar, demanding accountability.
She added to her Instagram story, “Respect is a two-way street. Abhishek never got aggressive, but the way Amaal pushed and used such abusive and uneven words for him was absolutely wrong. If Abhishek had done this, everyone would have appealed for his elimination. Why isn’t any action taken against the culprits? Physical violence, character assassination, and what not has Abhishek been victimized for.”
Taking added a statement for Amaal, saying, “Such soulful music is being made by a person who carries so much hate in his heart?” As for Kunicka Sadanand, Ekta shared, “Being such an elderly person, why are you speaking so crass about someone? Shameful!”
For the unversed, there have been multiple times when the housemates have said that Abhishek just keeps eating the entire day and does not do any work. In the recent episode, he had a showdown with Amaal Mallik over the portion of food he took. Time and again he is called out for being physically violent, and there are phases where he has been looked down upon during task performances. Though Amaal has justified his stance, there are some who are in favor of Abhishek, and during some instances the housemates have not supported him.
