Right then, that is it from this stop-and-start 3rd ODI due to rain, where West Indies have completely brushed aside Ireland to share the spoils. Both the captains, Shai Hope and Paul Stirling, have been handed over the trophy as they pose together with the series ending at 1-1. The Windies will now move to England for a three-match ODI series, starting on 29th May, while Ireland have a bit of a break and will be back in action against the West Indies again in a three-match T20I series that will begin on 12th June. However, there is still plenty of cricket action around the world, and you can enjoy our coverage by just switching tabs. Until next time, cheers and goodbye!

Shai Hope, the victorious skipper of the West Indies, says that he is very pleased with the overall performance of the team, though the last game got washed out, otherwise, the result of the series could have been in their favour, and he can’t control the weather. Adds that a player doesn’t need a definite number of games to become an experienced player, as each and every individual is mature enough to take their respective responsibilities. Mentions that Matthew Forde has been exceptional for them in the entire series, and his bowling adds a different layer to them. Further adds that they have prepared well and are excited for the upcoming England tour. Ends by saying that they will want to carry this momentum with them on the next tour.

Paul Stirling, the captain of Ireland, says they were not able to hit the straps with the ball but were happy to bowl first today. Shares, Josh Little and Jordan Neill have been looked at; they'll have scans tomorrow, and due to that, they had a difficult last 20 overs. Tells that they will switch to the T20Is coming up next in the series.

Keacy Carty is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH AND ALSO PLAYER OF THE SERIES for his amazing batting display, racking up 278 runs in 3 games. Starts by saying it feels good to come overseas and perform well. Shares, they played according to the conditions and also figured out against the bowlers how they wanted to take on. Reckons they did well against England recently and wants to do the same in the upcoming series.

Presentation Time...

West Indies were ruthless with the ball, led by a fiery opening spell from Jayden Seales, who struck early with three superb deliveries. Although wickets dried up for a period, they maintained relentless pressure on the batters. Once Alzarri Joseph broke through by dismissing Tucker, the collapse began - Justin Greaves and Roston Chase added one each, before Evin Lewis sealed the deal with a run-out to wrap things up.

Earlier in the day, West Indies registered the highest-ever ODI total at this venue, powered by a sensational 170 of Keacy Carty and a composed half-century from Shai Hope. Justin Greaves added the finishing touches with his maiden ODI fifty, striking some powerful blows towards the end. Barry McCarthy claimed three wickets but was expensive, conceding 100 runs. Liam McCarthy picked up two, while Andy McBrine and George Dockrell chipped in with a wicket apiece.

Ireland were never quite in the hunt, faced with a daunting target. Losing Andy Balbirnie early didn’t help their cause, and although Paul Stirling got a start, he too fell without making it count. Cade Carmichael and Lorcan Tucker tried to steady the innings with a decent partnership, with the former narrowly missing out on a fifty. But once that stand was broken, the collapse was swift. From 112/3, they crumbled to 165 all out, with Josh Little and Jordan Neill unable to bat due to injuries sustained earlier in the game.

A commanding win for the West Indies! They’ve drawn level in the series with a top-notch performance, and it's well deserved. After showcasing some brilliant batting in the previous game that was sadly washed out, they returned here and delivered yet another outstanding all-round display.

29.5OUT! RUN OUT! THAT'S ALL FOR IRELAND! WEST INDIES WIN BY A HUGE MARGIN OF 197 RUNS! As the two remaining batters won't come out to bat because of their respective injuries! On a length, from around the wicket and around off, Liam McCarthy drives it on the up towards cover, where the ball goes in the air but falls down just in front of the cover fielder. Evin Lewis collects the ball on the bounce, and meantime, Andy McBrine has left his crease for a quick run but is sent back by his partner. Lewis makes an aim and hits the bullseye at the bowling end, with Andy falling short by miles.

29.4Nagging length and around off, Liam McCarthy drops it down beside the pitch to the off side and looks to take a single but is denied by his partner.

29.3Full and drifting on the pads, just outside leg, Liam McCarthy misses his flick shot and gets hit on the pads. There is a mild appeal for LBW from the slip cordon but is denied by the umpire.

29.2Switches to around the wicket and bowls it from wide of the crease, hard length and around middle, Andy tucks it towards mid-wicket and takes a single.

29.1FOUR! PULLED AWAY! Back of a length and around leg, not a great line to be honest, Andy McBrine shifts his weight to the back foot and hooks it fine to deep fine leg for a boundary.

Change. Jayden Seales is brought back into the attack.

28.6Very full and around off, Liam McCarthy leans on and drives it back to the bowler.

28.5Floated it up and around off, Liam McCarthy tries to defend it but gest beaten on the outside edge.

28.4Short and around off, Andy McBrine pushes it to the right of cover for a single off the back foot.

28.3OUT! RUN OUT! Ireland lose their seventh and West Indies are on top! Tossed it up and around middle, Barry McCarthy plays it off the back foot and flicks it to the right of mid-wicket, and sets off for a quick single. The fielder there, Justin Greaves, is very quick as he collects the ball and takes his time, before making a direct hit at the non-striker's end. The batter seems to be touch short of his crease, despite dragging his bat as Roston Chase gets into the celebratory act instantly. The third umpire is called up and he checks the replays to confirm the same. Barry McCarthy will have to go back for a duck.

28.2Nagging length and around off, Barry McCarthy goes on the back foot and defends it into the pitch.

DRINKS! The victory looks inevitable at this point for the West Indies, but they still are four wickets away. Ireland could only show some fight from here and try and take the game deep. These two, though, definitely can bat, so the West Indies can't lie back at this point.  Also, Barry McCarthy comes in next.

28.1OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the fielder! Roston Chase picks up a wicket on his first ball only! He drops it a bit short and into the batter, around middle, George Dockrell goes back and looks to take him on. He mistimes his pull shot straight to deep backward square leg, where the centurion of the first inning, Keacy Carty, makes no mistake, as he pouches it safely. Ireland are six down and they look just out of the chase, already.

27.6On a length and around off, Andy McBrine comes forward and shows the full face of the bat to defend it.

27.5Back of a length and around off, George Dockrell drags it with a pull shot to deep square leg for one more.

27.5WIDE! Full but down the leg side, George Dockrell misses his tickle shot. Called a wide.

27.3Just short! On a good length and outside off, Andy McBrine swings hard at it and gets a top edge that goes to deep backward point but falls just ahead of the fielder. A single taken.

27.2Nagging length and around off, Andy McBrine drops it down to backward point.

27.1FOUR! STREAKY! Short of a length and around off, Andy McBrine uses his feet and looks to pull it, but gets a top edge that flies over the short third man fielder for a boundary. Also, 150 is up for Ireland.

26.6Slower again, full and on off, George Dockrell drills it straight mid off.

26.5A slower one, full and on leg, George Dockrell goes through his flick early and misses to get hit on the pads.

26.4SIX! SMOKED! Matthew Forde goes short again and on middle, does not bounce that much. George Dockrell once again gets on top of it and hammers it over the deep mid-wicket fence for a biggie.

26.3FOUR! Smacked away! Short of a length and around middle. George Dockrell picks up the length early and pulls it with disdain towards the deep mid-wicket fence for a boundary.

26.2Back of a length and outside off, Andy McBrine cuts it through point for a run.

26.1On a length and on off, George Dockrell steers it through cover-point for a single.

24.5Play and a miss again! Pitches it up and around off, shapes it away, George Dockrell steps across to drive, but the ball zips past the outside edge.

24.4Hits length hard and on off, George Dockrell pats it back to the bowler.

24.3Back of a length and on off, George Dockrell punches it to covers.

24.2Touch fuller and on middle, George Dockrell fends it away towards mid-wicket.

24.1Good length and on middle, Andy McBrine flicks it through mid-wicket for a single.

23.6FOUR! Nicely played! Short of a length and on off. George Dockrell gets on top of the bounce and swats it away to the long off fence for a boundary.

23.5Play and a miss! Goes fuller and on off, shaping in a bit, George Dockrell goes for the big booming drive but fails to connect.

23.4On a length and around off, George Dockrell guides it to point.

23.3Pitched up and on off, George Dockrell taps it to covers.

23.2A massive shout for LBW, but turned down! Full again and on off, nips back in a bit. Andy McBrine steps across to play but misses and gets hit on the pads. Greaves just keeps on running and starts celebrating without even looking at the umpire. The umpire says no as the impact looks just outside off. The ball rolls past the keeper, and the batters get a leg bye.

23.1Fuller in length and on off, Andy McBrine pushes it to covers.

22.6In the air...safe! Hits the length hard, on middle, straightens a bit. Andy McBrine looks to work it away but gets a leading edge that goes over covers and lands safely. They cross.

22.5On a length and around off, Andy McBrine guides it past point for a couple of runs.

22.4FOUR! Put away! Short of a length but angling down the leg side, Andy McBrine just helps it on its way to the fine leg fence for a boundary.

22.3Back of a length and on leg, George Dockrell nudges it through backward square leg for a run.

22.2Full again and on middle, George Dockrell knocks it towards mid on.

21.6Full and on the pads, Andy McBrine clips it through mid-wicket for one.

21.5Fullish and on off, Andy McBrine taps it to covers.

Andy McBrine is the new batter in.

21.4OUT! CASTLED! Justin Greaves gets his first wicket now! He goes a bit fuller this time, on off, holds its line. Cade Carmichael skips down the track to play it, but gets nowhere near the ball and is also beaten by the pace. The ball goes through and uproots the off pole out of the ground. CC departs after making 48 runs and misses out on a half-century. Ireland lose half their side now.

21.3Back of a length and on off, Cade Carmichael bunts it back towards the keeper.

21.2Pitched up and on middle, Cade Carmichael drills it to mid on.

21.1Fuller one and on middle, Cade Carmichael blocks it out.

20.3On a length and on middle, George Dockrell keeps it to the leg side.

20.2Back of a length and on off, George Dockrell pats it towards covers.

George Dockrell comes out to bat.

20.1OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Alzarri Joseph gets his first wicket of the game! He serves this on a good length but outside off. Lorcan Tucker shuffles across quickly to scoop it away, but only manages to get a slight nick behind the stumps, where Shai Hope makes no mistake. There is an appeal, and the umpire takes his time before raising his finger. Tucker knew, and he has to walk back now as Ireland are four down.

19.6Back of a length and on off, Lorcan Tucker pats it towards point and sets off for the run. Roston Chase throws it at the bowler's end, where it hits Tucker on the back. With 20 overs now completed in the chase, we will definitely have a result in this game.

19.5That beats everyone! Good length and around middle, shaping in sharply. Cade Carmichael backs away to drive but misses. It just goes past the leg stump, and Shai Hope dives to his left, gets a glove to parry it towards fine leg. A bye is taken.

19.4Full and on off, Cade Carmichael pushes it to covers.

19.3A low full toss, on middle, Cade Carmichael tucks it to mid-wicket.

17.4FOUR! Beautiful shot! Justin Greaves serves it full and outside off, Cade Carmichael leans and drives it through covers for a boundary.

17.3Length ball, outside off, Tucker punches it to cover for a single. Also, 100 comes up for Ireland.

17.2This is full and on middle, Cade Carmichael drills it to long on for a single.

Ireland are batting at 5.70 current run-rate and they need 9.19, a tough task, indeed. The umpires have brought in a groundsman for the hammering of the dust, where the bowler lands, as there seems to be some issue there.

15.1Full and shaping on middle, Cade Carmichael turns it to square leg for one.

DRINKS! In this monumental chase, Ireland have been struggling in a big way as they have lost their top order, courtesy of some exceptional bowling of Jayden Seales, and now they need 284 runs in 31 overs, which looks like a miracle from this point. Windies have been pretty good with their strategies in bowling and they ned a couple of more wickets to just seal the game, one-sided, like they did early with their batting. Will Ireland give a close fight, or will the West Indies close this match with ease? Find out in the upcoming overs. Joseph is to continue from this end.

12.4Full and on middle, nudged to mid-wicket.

12.3That was close! Floats it very full and on middle and leg. Cade Carmichael fails to flick and gets hit on the pads. A huge appeal for LBW but turned down. Just spinning a bit, maybe.

7.6OUT! TIMBER! Jayden Seales has three, and this is another Jaffa from him! He hits the length hard and on the fifth stump line, gets it to swing back in sharply. Harry Tector gets into two minds whether to play or leave, but gets his judgment wrong and lets it through. The ball zips through and rattles the off pole. Seales is pumped up, and why shouldn't he? He has rattled the Irish top order. Also, a double-wicket maiden for him.

7.5A shout for LBW, but turned down! Length again and on middle, nips back in, Harry Tector looks to play but misses and gets hit high on the pads. There is an appeal for LBW, but the umpire says no as this one is going over.
