Private equity firm TVS Capital announced on October 7 that Anuradha Ramachandran has been appointed as a managing partner.
She has more than 22 years of experience across venture capital (with Ventureast, Omidyar Network and Flourish Ventures), investment banking (with Lazard), and financial journalism.
Gopal Srinivasan, chairman and managing director of TVS Capital Funds, said, "Ramachandran joining cannot come at a better time when we are doubling down on tech-driven business in two key sectors - digital financial services, and digital commerce and enterprises. With her rich exposure to early-stage enterprises in general and fintech, it would bring significant thought leadership to our fund and will help scale it to the next level."
TVS Capital has raised Rs 3,000 crore across three funds and made 30 investments in Indian companies.
It invests in technology-driven businesses in financial services and business-to-business services. The third fund includes unicorns like Digit Insurance, Five Star Business Finance, and Yubi (CredAvenue).

The company is expanding its tech business in the digital financial service and digital commerce sectors.
TVS Capital has been strengthening its leadership of late, with the addition of Praveen Sridharan as a partner - investments, and the appointment of LN Guru Moorthy as its chief financial officer and partner.
