Moneycontrol BureauShares of CMI, Asian Oilfield, Amtek Auto and Electrosteel Castings rose 1-5 percent intraday Monday ahead of board meeting on the companies.Amtek Auto's board meeting is scheduled to be held on February 23, to discuss and consider the issue of equity shares subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company in its general meeting.CMI's board meeting will be held on March 20 to consider amalgamation of CMI Energy India with self and issue of upto 5 lakh shares on preferential basis to promoters/promoter group.Asian Oilfield Services' board to meet on February 22 to consider various options for fund raising and conversion of 25 lakh warrants held by Oilmax Energy into 25 lakh equity shares.The banking and authorisation committee meeting of Electrosteel Castings will be held on February 27, to consider and approve raising of funds through issuance of non-convertible debt securities on private placement basis.At 10:16 hrs Amtek Auto was quoting at Rs 35.75, up 4.84 percent and Electrosteel Castings was quoting at Rs 28.30, up 0.53 percent.Asian Oilfield Services was trading at Rs 169.50, up 0.74 percent, while CMI was up 3.84 percent at Rs 174.60 on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
