Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "We are starting with some midcaps where short selling is possible. The first is NMDC. NMDC is weak and that weakness persists today. So, consider going short in NMDC."
"The second is Equitas Holdings. Most of these microfinance companies are showing signs of distribution, signs of an on-going correction and Equitas is part of that. So, consider going short in Equitas."
"Just to balance it out, Infosys continues to be cheerful. Infosys is a buying opportunity for the day," he added.
"If you are a short-term trader, this is the perfect time to take profits off the table. However, if you are an investors, everything of good quality should be held on to. So, for an investor, higher levels will certainly come in ITC; for a trader, just get out now."
"If I had to choose between Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and ITC, it will be HUL. HUL has significantly higher levels ahead. ITC probably is range bound. It goes up, comes down, it has limited potential as compared to HUL; HUL is much better."
