Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "It is much easier to trade in the stocks today and there are midcap buying opportunities and short selling opportunities in the largecap."

"Bank of Baroda is a sell. Actually all PSU banks are short sells. You just need a little courage to carry those positions for a longer period of time."

"Tata Motors is a short sell. See how it is falling; lower highs, lower lows, and it does not stop falling. Inspite of all the news that is being given to highlight how good it is, the market is not accepting that. So these two are short selling ideas," he said.

"Three midcaps - metals are in a space of their own. Everything was falling two days ago and metals index and the metal components were going up. So Vedanta is a buying opportunity and so is M&M Financial Services which is now outperforming all the NBFCs. So these two and the third is Indraprastha Gas (IGL). Another company which is in some kind of a level that we don’t see – does not come down and it does not stop. So, three buy ideas, focus on the buy idea," he added.

"There are two stocks, Gruh Finance and PC Jeweller, both for buying. Midcaps, today, should be looked only for buying. Ujjivan Financial is coming out of a long bear market. It is a buying opportunity if you are an investor or an intermediate term trader, which means if you have a time horizon of few months. For today, I have nothing."

"Hindalco Industries is a buying opportunity, so are Hindustan Zinc and Vedanta."

"Reliance Industries is a buying opportunity if there is an intraday dip. Buy that dip. At current level, Tech Mahindra is a buy."
