The Greater Noida Authority has formed a nine-member committee to resolve builders-buyers issues. The committee is expected to resolve issues like non-issuance of no objection certificates for transfer memorandum by the builder or Association of Allottees (AOA) to the flat buyers, formation of AOA in the society, transfer of IFMS (Interest-Free Maintenance Charge) fund of the society among others, officials said.
They said that the committee will meet on November 21, December 12, and January 3 next year for the solution of builders-buyers issues. There are around 200 societies in Greater Noida and in many housing complexes disputes arise between residents and representatives of the builder or apartment owner association.
“Sometimes disputes arise over non-issuance of NOC for transfer memorandum, sometimes over the formation of Apartment Owners Association in the society or sometimes over non-transfer of IFMS funds of the society. These complaints have also started reaching the authorities. To resolve these issues quickly, GNIDA CEO NG Ravi Kumar has constituted a nine-member committee under the chairmanship of ACEO,” said a GNIDA official.
Authority's ACEO Saumya Srivastava has been made the chairman of this committee. The other eight members include OSD Builders department, general manager planning, general manager project, general manager finance, in-charge legal, manager of the builders’ department and two members nominated from CREDAI. This committee will meet and resolve disputes between residents and representatives of the builder or apartment owner association, the official said.
Complaints received from flat buyers and residents will be placed before this committee. Details of the meeting will be shared by the Authority with the homebuyers.
