Prestige group elevates Venkat K Narayana as CEO

The board elevated Venkat K Narayana as the CEO of the company from Executive Director (Finance) and CFO, the Bengaluru-based developer said in a statement.

We are in the last phase of the September quarter earnings season, and the results announced by the BSE 500 companies so far have shown signs of a sharp recovery, as compared to the June quarter, when the economic activity in the country was compromised due to lockdown in various regions. From the BSE 500 list, 216 companies have announced their September quarter results so far. We excluded banking and financial companies. Realty firm Prestige Estates Projects Ltd today promoted Venkat K Narayana as the company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

VVBS Sarma has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.

The board elevated Venkat K Narayana as the CEO of the company from Executive Director (Finance) and CFO, the Bengaluru-based developer said in a statement.

"Venkat is associated with the group for over 14 years and has been working very closely with me as a CFO. His transactional expertise in the real estate industry has greatly benefited our company and he has a strong track record of executing corporate strategy and driving operational efficiency," Prestige group CMD Irfan Razack said.

Sarma is associated with the group for over two decades and currently working in the capacity of Executive Director, Finance and Accounts of Prestige Property Management and Services -- the services arm of the group.
