Home buyers too are willing to shell out 15 to 20% more to get a Vastu-friendly home.
Cities like Chennai and Bangalore have a number of buildings that offer north and north-east facing homes while Kerala has several south and south-east homes. If we move towards the north, home buyers are not adamant about Vastu-friendly homes but rather are driven by climatic conditions. The presence of ample amount of sunlight is an important factor to be considered for many home buyer there. Doors which open inwards and entries facing the north direction have caught the eye of many reputed players in the realty industry. Architects are building homes that meet these needs and requirements.
The benefits of having such homes too have driven the demand. While north facing homes are cited to be more beneficial for kids, south facing homes are good for the owners as it promotes wealth.
Vastu will always drive this industry. So no matter what your choice is, builders are making things easier for you and offering several south and north facing homes, so pick and choose one which suits you best.
