Hennur Main Road is a 12 kilometer stretch which connects Kannuru, a small northern town in Bengaluru with Bangalore East railway station. The area which was once considered to be the outskirts of the city has now turned into a most sought after destination for investment with the proposed and ongoing infrastructural developments.
Accessibility
The micro market started gaining importance after the international airport came up in Devanahalli. Hennur Main Road passes through localities like HBR Layout, Banaswadi, Kalyan Nagar, Geddalahalli, Narayanapura, Chikkagubbi, and many others. Railway stations in Banaswadi and Bangalore East are situated close to this stretch. Widening of the road to four-lanes along with a cargo road for the international airport is proposed and this on completion will take the realty market here to greater heights.

Real estate
The new international airport changed the realty market of the locality. Another route has been planned to reach the airport and if it takes shape, the property rates here are expected to double in the coming years. About 70 percent of the demand for properties here comes from investors. The abundant greenery present here is also attracting the property buyers. The micro market has many mid-segment projects. With all the proposed infrastructural developments, the locality is expected to become one of the most sought after areas for buyers. The realty segment is expected to offer good returns in the future.
