Hennur Main Road is a 12 kilometer stretch which connects Kannuru, a small northern town in Bengaluru with Bangalore East railway station. The area which was once considered to be the outskirts of the city has now turned into a most sought after destination for investment with the proposed and ongoing infrastructural developments.

The micro market started gaining importance after the international airport came up in Devanahalli. Hennur Main Road passes through localities like HBR Layout, Banaswadi, Kalyan Nagar, Geddalahalli, Narayanapura, Chikkagubbi, and many others.
