Power Grid Corporation of India share price fell nearly 3 percent in the opening trade on August 5 despite the company won bid for Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III complex.
At 09:40am, Power Grid Corporation of India was quoting at Rs 348.10, down Rs 9.90, or 2.77 percent, on the BSE.
“... has been declared as the successful bidder under tariff based competitive bidding to establish inter-state transmission system for transmission system strengthening for interconnections of Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III complex on build, own operate and transfer (BOOT) basis,” company said in its exchange filing.
The project comprises 765kV D/C transmission line interconnecting Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III substations and associated bays extension works at these substations in the state of Rajasthan.

The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,723.92 crore for the first quarter of financial year 2024-25, up three percent from Rs 3,597.16 crore a year ago.
Revenue from operations were flat in the quarter at Rs 11,006.18 crore, compared to Rs 11,048.13 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
