JB Chemicals share price rose nearly a percent in the early trade on June 25 following the company received USFDA approval for its Amitriptyline Hydrochloride Tablets.
At 09:21am, JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals was quoting at Rs 1,816.45, up Rs 17.65, or 0.98 percent, on the BSE.
".... has received approval from United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA), Amitriptyline Hydrochloride Tablets USP, 10 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 75 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg," company said in its press release.
The said tablets indicated for relief of symptoms of depression, it added.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,029.00 and a 52-week low of Rs 1,303.00 on 16 August, 2024 and 07 April, 2025, respectively.
Currently, the stock is trading 10.48 percent below its 52-week high and 39.41 percent above its 52-week low.
The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 28,347.32 crore.
