Shri Ajay Kumar Shrivastava brings 37 years of experience in Design, Development, and Certification of Trainer, Fighter, and Transport Aircrafts, as well as Rotary Wing Aircraft. His expertise includes aircraft navigation and communication systems, weather radars, and the integration of avionics equipment and sensors. He has been instrumental in the avionics upgrade of the HS-748 fleet of the Indian Air Force and the Do-228 aircraft for the Indian Coast Guard, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy.
Additional Context
Prior to this appointment, Shri Shrivastava served as the head of the Transport Aircraft Research and Design Centre (TARDC), Kanpur, where he oversaw DGCA certification for civil HAL Do-228 aircraft. He also led the indigenization of critical aircraft components in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. As the Head of Aircraft Research and Design Centre (ARDC), he obtained RMTC-RSD certification for the HTT-40 trainer aircraft and carried out the avionics upgrade of HJT-36.
