There's a palpable confusion among individuals about the exact holiday dates for the stock market this year. According to Drik Panchang, the Diwali Amavasya tithi, considered auspicious for Lakshmi Puja, begins on October 31 at 3:52 pm and concludes on November 1 at 6:16 pm. This year, the Lakshmi Puja Muhurat falls on November 1, between 5:36 pm and 6:16 pm.
Meanwhile, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will remain open on October 31 but will observe a holiday on November 1, 2024.
