BSE revises scrips in BSE Midcap, Smallcap indices

The BSE revised various stocks from key indices and transferred them under different categories.

Scrips of Wockhardt, Reliance Capital, Hindustan Petroleum and National Aluminium will be included in the S&P BSE Midcap Index from September 23.

As part of review of S&P BSE indices, the Midcap Index will also include JSW Energy, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindustan Copper, Mangalore Refinery, Just Dial, Westlife Development, Rasoya Proteins, Asianlak Capital, J M Financial, Future Retail, Vardhman Textiles and PI Industries, the premier stock exchange said in a release here.

The Index will exclude shares of India Tourism Development, M&M Financial, Apollo Hospitals, Greaves Cotton, Anant Raj Industries, Hindustan National Glass, Unichem Labs, Jindal SAW, J K Cement, DB Realty, Novartis India, ABG Shipyard, Raymond, PTC India, SpiceJet, Radico Khaitan, Shree Renuka Sugars, Parsvnath Developers, Sadbhav Engineering, Tata Teleservices Maharashtra, Eros International Media, Bombay Dyeing, Chennai Petroleum, Mannauram Finance, Punj Lloyd and Sintex Industries, the release said.
 
The BSE S&P Small Cap Index will see inclusion of Greaves Cotton, Anant Raj Industries, Hindusthan National Glass and Unichem Labs, it said.

The exchange said it will drop scrips of Tree House Education, TD Power Systems and SRS from S&P BSE IPO Index.
