Mahindra launches Thar Earth Edition; design echoes the spirit of Thar desert

It said the Thar Earth Edition seeks to enchant and grow 'the community of Thar enthusiasts'.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd revealed on February 27 the Thar Earth Edition, a distinctive variant inspired by the Thar Desert.

A statement from M&M said the Thar Earth Edition seeks to expand upon the 'adventurous heritage' of the Mahindra Thar by enchanting and growing 'the community of Thar enthusiasts'.

The company said that crafted with a distinctive satin matte 'Desert Fury' finish, this special edition is intended to enhance the uniqueness of the iconic SUV, and promise to inspire a new wave of adventurers to embrace the 'Thar Life'.

"The special edition is inspired by the infinite expanse of the Thar Desert and the ability of the Thar to allow one to explore it with ease. With a palette inspired by the desert geography, promoting a sense of oneness with the environment, it doesn't just symbolize adventure — it epitomizes it," the automobile company said.
