India's exports in November rose an annual 26.5% to USD 18.9 billion, while imports for the month grew 11.2% on the year to USD 27.8 billion, government data released on Monday showed.
India's trade deficit in November narrowed to USD 8.9 billion compared with USD 9.7 billion in October.India's trade deficit in August had widened to a 23-month high of USD 13.06 billion and Trade Secretary Rahul Khullar had said it could touch USD 135 billion in the current fiscal year to March, higher than his earlier forecast of USD 120 billion.Asia's third-largest economy is targeting close to 15% export growth in the current fiscal.
