Ahmedabad-based air cooler company Symphony today reported a 17.45 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 56.06 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 47.73 crore in October-Decemner period a year-ago, Symphony said in a BSE filing.
Total income during the quarter under review was up 10.83 per cent to Rs 180.09 crore as against Rs 162.48 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal.
Total expenses stood at Rs 113.91 crore as against Rs 102.83 crore, up 10.77 per cent.
Shares of Symphony today settled at Rs 1,329.15 on BSE, down 1.56 per cent from previous close.
