New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) reported narrowing of consolidated net loss at Rs 17.19 crore in the second quarter ended September 30. The company had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 26.89 crore in the same period last fiscal, NDTV said in a BSE filing. Total income from operations was Rs 127.6 crore as against Rs 110.38 crore in the year-ago quarter, it added.
On standalone basis, NDTV said, it reduced its loss to Rs 7 crore in July-September quarter against a loss of Rs 20 crore in the same quarter last year. The group's e-commerce businesses reported a loss of Rs 13 crore as against a loss of Rs 4 crore in the same period last year. The company, however, said it has secured funding at a valuation close to USD 80 million for its gadgets and auto e-commerce vertical.
