Centrum has come out with its second quarter (July-September) earnings estimates for the Consumer sector. The brokerage house expects
Colgate-Palmolive to report net profit at Rs 164.7 crore, up 31.6 percent quarter-on-quarter.
Net Sales are expected to increase by 11 percent Q-o-Q (up 9 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 1124.6 crore, according to Centrum.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to rise by 23.8 percent Q-o-Q (up 5.4 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 261.5 crore.
Centrum's report on Colgate-PalmoliveWe expect Q2FY17 revenue to grow by 9% YoY, led by 6% volume growth, with 3% mix/price-led growth.Operating margins are likely to decline by 80bps YoY due to higher A&P cost. We expect PAT to increase by mere 5% to Rs1,647mn.
