Amara Raja Q2 PAT seen down 2.5% at Rs 127.3 cr: Kotak Sec.

Kotak Securities has come out with its second quarter (July-September) earnings estimates for the automobiles sector. The brokerage house expects Amara Raja to report net profit at Rs 127.3 crore, down 2.5 percent quarter-on-quarter.

Net Sales are expected to increase by 2.2 percent Q-o-Q (up 16.6 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 1350 crore, according to Kotak Securities.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to fall by 2 percent Q-o-Q (up 12.1 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 222.8 crore.Kotak Securities' report on Amara RajaWe estimate revenues to grow by 17% yoy, driven by (1) double-digit growth in the replacement segment and (2) revenues from home UPS manufacturing facility.We expect EBITDA margin to decline by 70 bps qoq, largely due to adverse impact of increase in lead prices.
