The country's largest private sector bank, HDFC Bank, on November 1 said that it will bring changes to lounge access within India on Regalia credit card.
The changes will be applicable on Regalia credit card from December 1, 2023, the bank said in an exchange notification.
The bank, in an exchange notification said that lounge access program will be based on the credit card spends.
"On meeting the spends criteria of Rs 1 lakh or more in a calendar year, users can access the lounge facility by visiting the Regalia Smart Buy page," the bank said.
Additionally, the bank said that users can avail 2 complimentary lounge access vouchers as part of quarterly milestone.
Cardholders who wish to access lounge outside of India, they can apply for a Priority Pass once they complete a minimum of four retail transactions on their HDFC Bank Regalia Credit Card. This pass allows the cardholder and any add-on members to collectively enjoy up to six complimentary lounge access visits per calendar year. It is important to note that exceeding the six complimentary visits will result in a charge of $27 plus GST per visit.

Axis Bank, in July 2023 decision to block access to redeem reward points for some users engaged in non-personal spending is a commendable step towards maintaining the sustainability of its rewards programme.
Additionally, the bank revised the features of a popular co-branded credit card, i.e., Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card.
