Buy Power Grid, advises Rajesh Agarwal

Rajesh Agarwal of AUM Capital told CNBC-TV18, "Power Grid has great prospects because of the fact that the government has clear focus on increasing power supply. This being a major power player with transformation capacity of around 2,90,500 megawatt, I think this is one of the best plays and this is around 1.3 trillion projects in hand. Capex is also Rs 25,000 crore. The numbers were better for Q4; we have seen PAT going up at 22 percent."

"I think this is a good vehicle to ride the power rally which is going to happen in the next two years. I would recommend a buy on this," he said.

"Recently, Marksans Pharma got certification for the Goa unit from UK regulators and almost one third of their revenue comes from UK only. So, that is a big positive. However, if you look at the valuations, valuations are overstretched at this point of time, even after the kind of correction which the stock has witnessed. Secondly, pharmaceutical having so much of a problem, facing bad weather all over, I don’t think sticking with this kind of pharmaceutical company makes any sense unless and until you are ready to stay put for two to three years and that again would see some amount of correction from the current market prices. It is better to sell at this point of time."
