Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "La Opala is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 640 and target of Rs 685. Bata India is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 725 and target of Rs 700. Bajaj Finance is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 1,710 and target of Rs 1,630."

"Basically, you can buy midcap IT -  Mindtree or Tech Mahindra etc., but I don’t think Infosys is showing great amount of traction. I think it is fairly range bound, Rs 1,050 is the higher end of that range, maybe now the lower end has moved to about Rs 900-910. But given the view on the market, I am still interested in taking short positions when the opportunities arises."

"Mindtree is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 540 and target of Rs 575. IGL is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 320 and target of Rs 335. Coal India is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 271 and target of Rs 256."

"Indiabulls Housing Finance has reached very close to its 200-day moving average. Now close to RBI policy etc. often housing tends to show some sort of upside but overall I don’t think the patterns here are too positive. So financials are something that is not showing strength on the upside at all."
