Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "I have a mix of buy and sells because my sense is that it could be choppy today and there will be short selling opportunities in stocks. Short selling should be done only intraday, never carry short positions in a bull market."

"Dabur India has made an attractive bullish pattern and it is on the verge of breaking out. It is a day trade, swing trade. It is also a positional view. One could buy Dabur and hold for a few weeks - that could easily work."

"I have Jet Airways, a favourite for me. The only favourite airline stock I have. After a mild seven day decline Jet Airways is coming up again, so we are buying on a dip. It's always a good place to buy."

"On the long side I have TVS Motor Company. TVS was in a trading range after a big stupendous rally. It is breaking out of that range and chances are there is a going to be significant momentum on the upside. It is a short-term trade but worth taking," he said.

"Two short selling ideas. One is Coal India, it's doing nothing. It was in a range and it is breaking down from that range and that is disturbing. Second stock is SRF, after a big rally, the stock has fallen from Rs 1,800 to Rs 1,400 odd. This suggests that a dip correction is in the offing, so it is a short sell."
