After weeks of speculation, Priyanka Chopra said "I do" to American singer Nick Jonas in a white wedding at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur. The Christian wedding, will be followed by a Hindu ceremony at the same venue.
The couple tied the knot in Ralph Lauren outfits. The official handle of the designer brand read, "Congratulations to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas on the occasion of their wedding. Ralph Lauren is honored to have dressed the couple as well as the members of their wedding party."
According to Chopra's social media feed, she wore a custom Ralph Lauren gown and Jonas sported a custom purple label tuxedo.
Switching to news on the box office, 2.0 is said to have earned approximately Rs 109 crore in its first two days. BoxOfficeIndia reported that 2.0 took a hit in southern versions as its collections dropped around by 30 percent on the second day. The film grossed Rs 60 crore on opening day. It is difficult to put a number for the third day number as some places showed strong audiences, while others seemed stable.
Although the film raked in good numbers on opening day, it doesn't seem the Rs 500 crore movie would turn out to be as big a hit as expected by fans and critics.
India has seen films made on a smaller budget make as much money in day one itself. Bahubali 2 made on a budget of Rs 250 crore earned Rs 1,000 crore on opening day. The Rajnikant movie was expected to gross around the same amount on day one.
Nonetheless, Bollywood still has hope to end the year on a high with three releases expected to do well on the box office.
Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sara Ali Khan in lead roles, Aanand L Rai's Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan and Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara are all set to release this December.
