The Lakmē Fashion Week 2025 recently commenced at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). The prestigious fashion event was inaugurated with a spectacular showcase by popular Indian designer Anamika Khanna for her prêt label, AK|OK. The designer crafted a wearable and versatile collection to open the fashion week. The beauty-inspired collection titled ‘Silver Collar’, encapsulated power dressing for the modern woman, featuring Bollywood actress Ananya Panday as the showstopper.

As a ongoing trend, Indian designers have been pushing Bollywood actors on runway as showstoppers, and Khanna’s opening act wasn’t any exception. As the brand ambassador for beauty brand, Ananya Panday walked for the designer with confidence and elegance in a striking blue and silver ensemble.
