Indian Oil Corporation Limited plans to hire 400 apprentices for the 2024-25 Apprenticeship program

IndianOil Corporation Limited (IOCL), one of India’s largest commercial enterprises and a Fortune “Global 500” company, is launching its 2024-25 Apprenticeship Program with a total of 400 vacancies. Applications are open from August 2, 2024, to August 19, 2024, until 11:55 PM. This initiative aims to enhance skill-building nationwide and invites applications for Technician, Trade, and Graduate Apprentices (both Technical and Non-Technical). The positions are available across Southern India, including Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

According to the notification, applicants must be between 18 and 24 years old as of July 31, 2024. Age relaxation is available for specific categories: SC/ST candidates can be up to 29 years old, OBC-NCL candidates up to 27 years, and PwBD candidates can receive an additional 10 years, with up to 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC-NCL.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Trade Apprentice: Matric with a regular 2-year ITI in the relevant discipline from a recognized SCVT/NCVT.
• Technician Apprentice: 3-year full-time Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks for General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates, and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized institute.
• Graduate Apprentice: Graduation (BA/BBA/B.Sc/B.Com) with 50% minimum marks for General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates, and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized University/institution.

• Candidates with higher qualifications such as MBA, LLB, BE, or equivalent are not eligible.
• Candidates who have completed their qualifications through distance learning or correspondence mode are not eligible.
• Candidates who have previously undergone apprentice training or are currently part of any apprenticeship program are also ineligible.

• Online Test: The selection will be based on an objective-type online test consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

1. Technician and Graduate Apprentices: Register on the NATS Portal.
2. Trade Apprentices: Register on the Apprenticeship India Portal.

• Complete the Application on the IOCL Website:

3. Locate the notification for 400 Trade/Technician/Graduate Apprentices and click the apply link.
4. Complete the New Registration process by entering your basic information.
