ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Registration Begins for 1154 Posts, Apply by Feb 14, direct link here

East Central Railway (ECR) has announced the recruitment for 1154 Apprentice posts across various divisions. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway (rrcecr.gov.in). The registration process commenced on January 25, 2025, and will conclude on February 14, 2025.

Vacancy Details

The vacancies are spread across multiple divisions, with the following breakdown:

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the apprenticeship:

• Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have passed the Matriculation (10th class) examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks. In addition, they should have completed ITI in the relevant trade, with a National Trade Certificate or Provisional Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
• Age Limit: The candidate must be between 15 to 24 years old as of January 1, 2025.

The selection will be based on a merit list that will be prepared using the average percentage marks obtained by candidates in their Matriculation and ITI examinations. Equal weightage will be given to both the marks in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI examinations.

Application Fees

The application fee is Rs 100. Candidates can make the payment using Debit/Credit cards, Internet Banking, or other available payment methods. Any transaction charges, if applicable, will be borne by the candidates.
