BSF Recruitment 2025: Registration begins for Constable Tradesmen posts; direct link to apply here

The Border Security Force (BSF) has started the online registration process for the Constable (Tradesmen) recruitment drive for 2025. Interested candidates can now apply by visiting the official BSF recruitment website rectt.bsf.gov.in.

This recruitment drive is open to candidates who have passed Class 10 and possess relevant trade qualifications. Various posts are available under different trades such as cook, barber, washerman and others.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognised board. In addition, those applying for specific trades must hold an ITI or NCVT certificate relevant to the trade they are applying for.

Age Limit: Applicants should be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 years of age. However, age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories as per the Government of India norms.

Selection Process

The selection process for BSF Tradesman posts involves five stages:

• Physical Standards Test (PST) – To check height, chest, and other physical measurements.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – To assess physical fitness.
• Trade Test – To evaluate skills in the selected trade.
• Written Examination – Includes general knowledge and trade-related questions.
• Medical Examination – Candidates must meet the medical standards set by BSF.
