My personal opinion, long term investors shouldnt worry about the price fluctuations happening in this share, as the company is making big moves to convert itself from a purely mining to steel sector, the sector change itself must rerate the stock due to higher PE of steel, which hasnt been accounted for so far. On top of this the year on year revenue growth will play the major role in its growth for next few years which I am highly bullish about due to steel integration. However for the short term, considering the cyclical nature of sandurs revenue and profit, I am very eagerly waiting for the current Q2 results which is generally its underperforming quarter. In my opinion, I would value this stock at atleast Rs. 280-300 if the Q2 results post a net profit of atleast 100cr as compared to 30cr of the previous year, also note that revenue and profits from arjas steel werent accounted in the 30cr net profit posted last year Q2. Just based on the profits and revenues with a decent debt to equity ratio. I think sanduma is one of the very few highly undervalued stocks in the metals and mining sector. For a study, I would suggest comparing the market caps, annual profits and revenue with kiocl, hind copper, and any other stock in similar sector. View more
