Celebrities like Zoe Saldana, Cardi B and Prince Royce have come forward and expressed their grief and shown support after a famous nightclub's roof collapsed in Dominican Republic, killing several people.

Singer Cardi B, who shares Dominican roots, expressed her sorrow over the recent incident in a powerful but wordless tribute.

In a heartbreaking incident, a popular nightclub's roof collapsed in Dominican Republic, leading to the death of more than 100 people and several people injured. Hollywood celebrities shared their condolences and expressed their despair after the incident.

Actress Zoe Saldana, who has her Dominican lineage, took to Instagram and re-shared a post by Cinestar Pictures which had the message, "Today, our hearts break over the tragic roof collapse at Jetset nightclub in the Dominican Republic. Sending love and strength to the victims, their families, and all those affected. In times of loss, may we come together in solidarity and compassion.”

She shared the post along with the caption, "To our beloved Dominican Republic Our hearts are broken."



Singer Cardi B, who shares Dominican roots, expressed her sorrow over the recent incident in a powerful but wordless tribute. She shared an image of the Dominican Republic with a black ribbon over it, depicting a universal symbol of mourning. The post deeply resonated with her millions of followers, silently conveying the weight of her grief and connection to the tragedy.

In a heartfelt collaborative Instagram post with her label, Pina Records, and her manager Raphy Pina, Natti Natasha shared an emotional message, expressing her feelings and solidarity during this tough time. “My beloved land, the Dominican Republic. Today we all woke up with broken hearts. A tragedy that mourns our country and leaves a deep void in many families. We woke up with tears in our eyes, in silence, in prayer. May God give strength to every mother, father, child, and friend who today suffers the loss of a loved one.From the depths of my soul, I share your pain. I am with you. We are in mourning.”


Bachata star Prince Royce also took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “My prayers for everyone affected by this big tragedy that happened at the nightclub in Santo Domingo. Peace and much strength."

As rescue operations are being carried on at the scene, recovering victims and offering aid to survivors, the heartfelt response and support from the entertainment industry has shone a spotlight on the tragedy.
