Fashionista Uorfi Javed recently wore a gorgeous little black dress. But it was no ordinary dress, this dress has birds. And the birds moved!
The thigh length georgette back dress had long sleeves cut from the middle which added a spice to the all black ensemble.
The coolest part about the outfit were the wings. Two antenna like ropes of the same fabric were sitting atop Uorfi Javed’s shoulders. The antennas had birds on top of them which made the ropes rotate. The birds were moving in a circular motion too. It felt reminiscent of Cinderella’s dress with the live birds.
Javed has been a pillar of fashion ever since she started her career. Javed always tries to wear a better and more creative outfit than her last.
This recent most outfit also makes her case for the Met Gala. She is redefining fashion in India and it’ll be great to see her walk the red carpet of the Met Gala.
Uorfi Javed also made headlines when she wore a dress made of eggs. Her creativity when it comes to fashion is unmatched.
This year, an Indian CEO Mona Patel also made headlines for her Met Gala look. The businesswoman wore a beautiful golden dress designed by Iris Van Herpen with butterflies on her arms. And guess what? The butterflies moved. The whole look was so enchanting and dreamy. It went completely on theme - ‘The Garden Of Time’.
Patel said, “I wanted my debut look to be something that celebrates my heritage and also combines my love couture, and when I heard of the theme, Iris Van Herpen seemed like the obvious choice.”
